mhd is an award winning firm of solicitors formed following the merger of the Leith based firm of Mowat Dean WS and Anne Hall Dick Solicitors.mhd, who as well as qualified Scot English solicitors also provide Polish legal services, is organised into three teams; Property, Private Client and Family. The Property Team are hugely experienced in both residential and commercial conveyancing.

The Private Client Team have expertise in the whole range of private client work
including tax planning, wills, trusts and executries.

The Family Team have several accredited specialists (by the Law Society of Scotland) in Family law and accredited mediators. Both mhd and the individuals in it have been regularly identified by independent agencies as leaders in the field of family law. They advise on separation, divorce, cohabitation, civil partnership and all issues affecting children. They offer a full range of support includiing negotiation, mediation, collaborative resolution and litigation.

We think that this is a great place to work.We currently have a vacancy for a full time qualified paralegal to join our friendly private client team. The ideal candidate will have a positive, enthusiastic approach and already be an experienced executry paralegal. The main duties of the role will be to deal with all aspects of executry administration including investigating the extent of the estate, preparing the Confirmation application and Inheritance Tax return, preparing the executry account and dealing with related tax matters. These duties will be carried out under the supervision of a private client partner.

Salary dependant on experience.
