Flexibility is an important part of what we offer.

You may want to meet us at regular intervals to review your commercial property arrangements or business contracts or to discuss matters on your estate. You may also want proactive information about changes that may affect you.

Or you may simply want one-off advice – from writing a will to preparing a shareholders’ agreement.

We are happy with all these ways of working, and can also tailor other aspects of our service, such as reporting.

Putting the right people at your service

All Lindsays clients have a ‘relationship partner’ who ensures you receive all you require from us in terms of advice and service.

But not all the work we do for you will require the services of a partner, so we allocate your work to the best people to handle it. If you need a senior lawyer with specialist knowledge, you will be advised by one. If we think a paralegal could help you instead, that is what will happen.

This ensures you receive the right advice at the right price. That’s another core element of our service.

Lindsays is a full-service law firm with a reputation for providing an excellent and outstanding service to clients and our Commercial Property Team acts for a wide range of investors, developers, banks, landlords and tenants.

The hours are Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm, although flexi time is available.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To provide a comprehensive, quality service to clients of the firm in all aspects of Conveyancing, including sales and purchases.
  • Maintaining a busy and largely unsupervised caseload with particular emphasis on new build sales, property finance, insolvency sales, high volume residential sales repeat business for corporate clients. Training in leasing will be provided.
  • Taking an active role in business development activities.
  • The opportunity for exposure to commercial property work commensurate with
  • Ordering searches, property enquiry certificates, preparing registration forms, drafting LBTT forms etc.
  • Regular reporting to clients by telephone, email and general correspondence
  • Generate satisfactory level of fee income in accordance with agreed set fee income and time targets, record all time and fee promptly during and/or on completion of transactions.

Key experience and skills required:

    • Experience in a similar role would be desirable
    • Methodical approach to work with good organisational skills and ability to prioritise
    • Research skills
    • Ability to communicate in a confident, clear and relaxed way
    • A team player
    • Good IT and word processing skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
